Each year, more than 700 women gather to share their story and inspire one another at the Shepparton News Pink Ribbon Brunch.
The annual event raises funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Last year, popular entertainer Robyn Moore was MC for the event, while cancer researcher, Dr Paul Beavis from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, was on hand to talk about research into immunotherapy.
Another key aspect of the event is the stories shared by local women who are going through or have gone through cancer.
There is always plenty of emotion around the room as women listen to the stories, and relate them to their own personal experiences, or someone they know who has been through cancer.
The event is uplifting, and offers inspiration and hope to others, all while raising much-needed funds to research cancer treatments.
The Pink Ribbon Brunch is a very popular event on the calendar, with tickets sought-after and always being sold out very soon after their release.
The Shepparton News is proud to run the Pink Ribbon Brunch, and to be associated with such a worthy cause.
This year will be the 12th annual Shepparton News Pink Ribbon Brunch, and will be held on October 28.
