The role is part-time and offers flexible working hours and arrangements, including the ability to work from home. The contract will last from September to March, with the possibility of permanent employment or extension.The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work on two prestigious, well-established events, one of them a large-scale outdoor expo. The role would suit someone with demonstrated senior event operations experience from an exhibition/expo background. A keen understanding of agriculture would be advantageous.The role will require: Confidence in the delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects from start to finish (planning, marketing, sales, program development, site layout, team and contractor management, etc). Focus and the ability to control all aspects of project timelines, event planning and execution. The ability to oversee the logistical and operational aspects of the event throughout its duration. The ability to work with a vast range of internal and external stakeholders. Good understanding of budget management, including allocation of resources, price negotiation, monitoring of event revenue, etc.If you have previous experience in executing large-scale exhibitions or events, a passion for working with people, strong leadership skills and a positive, can-do attitude, this role is for you.
