Seymour police believe a grass fire started on the side of the Hume Fwy yesterday was deliberately lit.
Seymour police are appealing for witnesses to an allegedly deliberately lit grass fire in Seymour yesterday.
The grass fire started about 11.50am on the eastern side of the Hume Fwy near Heywoods Rd.
Police have been told a vehicle was seen parked on the side of the road just before the fire broke out.
Police are investigating the circumstances and are appealing for anyone who may have seen a vehicle or a person in the area to come forward.
