Ex-VFL players bolster Tatura
Three former VFL players will join Tatura Football Club next season, with coach Scott Grigg saying it was a "huge relief" to get a yes from the players.
New Tatura coach Scott Grigg has bolstered the reigning premier’s playing list with three former VFL players.
Ex-Casey Scorpions teammates James Wall, Rian McGough and Ben Waite will reunite again at the Bulldogs.
“They are going to really add to our local talent,” Grigg said.
“You’re always on a knife’s edge at this time of year, waiting for yes or no answers, but it was a huge relief getting the answer, ‘Yes’ from three boys who will be travelling together.”
They help offset the loss of premiership players Cam Trewin, Shannon Broadbent and Ryan Crawford (Deer Park), Andrew Browning (relocated to Sydney), Justin Murphy (Rumbalara) and Tim Little (Shepparton).
