Devon Meadows trainer Wayne Vassallo was all smiles after brilliant chaser Azza Azza Azza streaked away with the Totalspan Cobram GRV Vic Bred Final (450m) at Shepparton on Monday night.

The speedy son of Collision started a warm $1.04 favourite on the tote and illustrated why as he strolled to a commanding 5-length success in the Grade 5 feature.

Azza Azza Azza’s going rate is right up there considering he earned connections $3050 in prizemoney following a sharp 25.26sec run from box two.

He has now won 15 of his 20 starts and amassed more than $40000 in earnings.

Former England Test cricketer turned greyhound trainer Darren Pattinson has found a happy hunting ground in the Goulburn Valley.

Pattinson’s charge Beckenbauer ($2.10 favourite) did a nice job to account for the Tanya Auld-trained contender Nail Clipper in the Shepparton Carpet Court Mixed 4/5 Dash (450m).

Glenn Dainton provided the lone Goulburn Valley success on the program when $1.70 favourite Immortal Power toughed it out to take home the Middy’s Data & Electrical Grade 5 Dash (450m).

Two chasers trained in the tiny Gippsland town of Nambrok saluted on the program as Feikuai Zack and My Tab prevailed, while Lara and Heathcote also provided winning doubles.

Steve Collins saw Opus Bale take out the Shepparton Football Netball Club Grade 5 (390m) after fellow Lara-based trainer Debra Coleman’s Ever To Be saluted earlier.

The Heathcote duo came courtesy of Komondo (Raymond Henness) and College Queen (Michael Chilcott).

Other winners on the card were Dughall Entity, Mo Town Sam and In A Daze.
