The Puckapunyal Tallarook Junior Football Netball Club needs recruits - and anyone can join.
By Chalpat SontiIt’s a bit of an old wives’ tale that to play for Puckapunyal Tallarook Junior Football Netball Club you need to live on the army base.
The club is keen to dispel the myth, and hopes to attract extra numbers at its registration day next week as it gears up for the start of the junior winter sports season on April 15.
Puckarook is hoping to field an under-16 side for the first time in its short history, and is keen to attract players from a wider area. It also runs under-12 and under-14 sides as well as the popular junior programs Auskick and Net-Set-Go.
The registration day will be held at the Puckapunyal football ground, Malaya Rd, on February 22 from 4.30
