TA Maher/Riverina Watermatic got up over Robbo’s Raiders/Mundiwa 7 sets to 6.
Vicki Hutton (Raiders) and Michael Williams (TA Maher) were the three set winners.
Rockets/Globe defeated Pastoral Times/Legal Eagles 9 sets to 4 with Alex Romanin (Rockets) winning all three of his sets.
The match was a lot closer than the score suggests with PT losing four tie-breakers for the day.
In Section 2, Peppin/Landmark were too good for Elders/Burchfields winning 10 sets to 3.
Tim Bradford, John James and Heinz Schultz won three sets each for the winners.
Amcal/Taskers Titans defeated Menadues/Mitre10, 7 sets to 6.
Hamish Thompson and Rebecca Dunn (Amcal) were three set winners.
