Helene Steward and Nick Fenaughty continue to impress on the tennis circuit

Helene Steward and Nick Fenaughty both won their singles comfortably, 8-0 and 8-5 respectively.
Emily Ryan and Caitlyn Price had a good 8-6 win in their doubles match while David Bate narrowly went down in a tie-break in his singles.
Premier One had the bye.
Cobram Blue 1-45 were defeated by Shepparton Purple 13-99.
It was a tough day at the office for Blue, winning just the one set for the afternoon.
Rod McLeod and Helen Bruni won their mixed 8-3.
As silly as it may sound, this is an improvement on their earlier encounter.
Shepparton is going to be very hard to beat when the whips are cracking.
Cobram Cream 4-67 were defeated by Strathmerton 10-96.
Skipper Phil Bourke won his singles 6-4 while both women’s singles games went down to the wire.
Glenice Sefton was on the right side of a tie-break but unfortunately Lauren Taylor was on the wrong side of her match.
Julie Dennis and Cath McGrath were also involved in doubles victories with Sefton and Taylor.
