Benalla swimmers perform well at home meet
Benalla Swimming Club hosted a successful Long Course Sprints meet with members posting plenty of PB's.
Benalla Swim Club recently hosted a Long Course Sprints event at the Benalla Aquatic Centre outdoor pool, with around 100 swimmers from the district and beyond converging on Benalla to compete.
Benalla Swim Club members performed well, some racing for the first time, while most achieved personal best times and some members placed in one or more of their events.
A team of 23 Benalla swimmers competed in the meet.

Congratulations to swimmers in the Benalla relay teams — the 14/under team won their event, the 10/under team came second, and the open team finished first.
Also well done to parents and uncles that had a go in the family relay event.
Benalla Swimming Club thanks all of our sponsors for the meet and thanks all volunteers who helped on the day.
Squad training will resume this week, and with a busy competition schedule in February and March. All members are encouraged to get back in the water and train hard.
