New-look board for Tongala Blues

Wayne Cowley is the new president of Tongala Football Netball Club which has undergone an administration shake-up.

Tongala Football Netball Club has undergone an administration shake-up with a new president, secretary and new look committee elected at its annual meeting last week.

Wayne Cowley has taken over as president of the club from club stalwart Barry Nexhip, who had the post for the past five years.

David Cox is the new vice-president, taking over from Mick Jones, while Paige Wade has relieved Jenny Dawson in the treasurer’s role.

Eight of last year’s administration and committee have stepped down.

New committee replacements include Darren Maloney, Brad Belcher, Alicia Northausen, Leona Tomlinson, Paul Cox, John Beech, Kieran Brennan, Sarah Blake, Tim Harris and Emily McGuire.
