Kyabram Bombers’ football coaches for next year gathered on Monday evening to watch an early pre-season training session and discuss some plans for the new season.
The club was pleased to confirm senior premiership player Rhys Clark had signed for next year.
Clark played for VFL side Bendigo Gold most of last season, but was a standout for the Bombers during the finals campaign.
Training began last week for seniors, reserves and under-18 players and will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings until Christmas and restart on January 6.
The under-16 teams start their pre-season training at Kyabram Recreation Reserve on Monday, December 16 at 4
Eligible players from both of last season’s under-16 teams and those moving up from under-14 level this season should attend.

Kyabram Bombers Youth Girls are looking for extra players for next year.
Kyabram finished third in the first season of the Youth Girls league and suffered from a lack of numbers for most of the season.
Coach Brett Hicks said with some more players to increase the squad, the team should be capable of challenging this season.
‘‘Twenty-one girls played for us last season, but we didn’t have them all available for the whole season,’’ he said.
‘‘We haven’t lost any from last season and with quality representative players like Alex Mulcahy and Jorja Daniel, we just need some more numbers.’’
