Seymour Little Athletics Centre re-commenced its season after the Christmas break on Friday night with athletes dusting off some cobwebs after the long summer.

Despite the windy conditions a number of centre records were broken. Hayden Anderson beat his own record in the 70m, Olivia Attard broke two records in the high jump and long jump and Patrick Andrews threw a whopping 35.11m in the javelin.

This Friday is the first week of club championships with results from three weeks of competition determining the age group champions.

The 100m will be one of the events on the program this friday with the winner from each group going into the all ages handicap on the last Friday night of competition.
