Great results at Tri-State Games.

Some of the action and fun involving the Seymour Go Getters at the Tri-State Games.

Go Getters athletes have done themselves and Seymour proud in the 2012 Tri State Games.

The games are a week-long sporting event attracting about 300 athletes from disability organisations throughout Victoria, NSW and South Australia.

They are held yearly and focus on promoting active participation, friendly competition and positive social interaction for adults with a disability.

Thanks to the overwhelming community support to raise much needed funds the Goulburn Options Go Getters team travelled to South Australia to compete in the sporting events and returned with a host of medals and personal best awards.

Congratulations to:

Davis Stokes — gold (200m run), gold (25m breaststroke), silver (football distance kick);

James Jones — gold (18m ball across pool), silver (carpet bowls);

Christopher Molony — bronze (cricket);

Carol Scott — silver (carpet bowls);

Rosemary Sheppard — silver (tennis ball throw);

Samantha Wilson — silver (kick board across pool), silver (50m run), bronze (noodle across pool);

Luke Peters — silver (25m breaststroke), silver (100m run);

Emma Beckett — silver (50m run), bronze (bean bag accuracy throw).
