The equine industry and Nagambie Football Netball Club are closely linked and it’s also the case with the Lakers’ new A-grade netball coach.

Caitlyn McPhee will take the reins at the defending Kyabram District Netball Club premier this year after moving to the area to work at a thoroughbred stud.

Senior football coach Linc Sullivan also works in the industry.

McPhee is the second 21-year-old in a row to take the helm of the side, following Sarah Theobald last year, and she will also be one of the most highly-credentialled netballers in the KDNL.

She has represented Victoria at 15-and-under and 17-and-under level and also played for Ballarat Pride in the state league.
