Club qualifies for every tennis playoff
Seymour will have plenty of chances to win a tennis premiership.
As the summer tennis season winds to an end, Seymour Tennis Club is celebrating a great achievement by its sides.
All nine teams the club has entered this season - seven junior and two senior - have made it through to the semi-finals of their competitions, to be played on March 16.
Avenel Hansen will take on Seymour in a local derby in the seniors section one semi-final while Seymour takes on Euroa Gooram and Avenel top qualifier Terip Terip in the section two playoffs.
As well as Seymour, Avenel has also qualified numerous sides for the junior semi-finals.
While the junior competition sees home semi-finals for the top qualifiers, with the grand finals to be played in Seymour, all senior semi-finals and grand finals will be played at Euroa this year.
Meanwhile, another reminder that the big tournament of the year at the Seymour tennis complex is on this weekend. Juniors and seniors and veterans round-robin format. All welcome, enquiries phone Mark on 0418 359 123.
