Celebrations were the order of the day on Sunday as the Swanpool A4 weekend pennant team defeated Kiewa in the Ovens and Murray grand final at Wangaratta Bowls Club.
Swanpool never looked in doubt as all teams were playing well.
At the break, Swanpool led 74-44 and continued its skillful play to the last ends.
Final scores: Swanpool 115 defeated Kiewa 72, with Swanpool winning on all rinks.
Congratulations to all the bowlers who played in the A4 team throughout the season.
Accepting the trophy on behalf of the team was a proud moment for Lance Bradshaw.
After the presentations, many members and families headed for the Swanpool clubhouse to celebrate.
There were 25 social bowlers on Saturday, including pennant players, and winners were Lance Bradshaw (s), Margaret Warnock and Peter Blake.
The Thursday night barbecue and social bowls attracted more than 30 people and winners were Mario Muller (s), Jenny Sievwright and Tim.
The last round of night pennant will be played against Benalla (1) at Swanpool next week.
