The season is heating up for Benalla swimmers, with the addition of three new coaches.

The club had a solid winter short course season where swimmers did well at the Victorian Country Short Course Championships at Wangaratta, and the State Age Championships in Melbourne, swimming many great personal best times. The club also gathered recently for the end-of-term time trial, which resulted in great times from many swimmers, including those new to the club.

Mailer swam some terrific times against strong metropolitan swimmers and took many seconds off her long course times from last season. She finished the meet by winning the open girls’ 200
