Twenty-four 2013 Auskick graduates played at half-time in the round 22 clash between North Melbourne and Hawthorn.

On the bus, $1000 was offered to the Auskickers who could hit the roof of Etihad Stadium, and Auskick co-ordinator Mick Liddington said there were a few perfect torpedoes that rivalled those of Benalla Saints and All Blacks players this season.
During the game Jaydn Espie took a mark in front of goal and slotted it through, causing the devoted Benalla crowd to erupt.
Liddington said it was a fantastic experience for the young players.
‘‘The kids absolutely had a ball for this once-in-a-lifetime experience,’’ he said.
‘‘We wish every Auskicker could have this opportunity and breaks our hearts as we had only 24 spots of the 32 Auskickers to select from.’’
The Auskick graduates will progress to B-division of the Benalla and District Junior Football League in 2014, where they will continue to develop their skills in the local teams.
This year saw 180 Auskickers registered out of the 353 Benalla and District Junior League registrations.
