Yarrawonga-Mulwala devastated by freak storm event
UPDATE - 4pm An emergency relief centre for Bundalong residents will be open at the Bundalong Hall until 6pm. Anyone who needs assistance is urged to register at the centre with representatives from the Moira Shire Council, Red Cross and Department of Human Services on hand to help. A community meeting will be held at the centre, in Pyke Street, at 7pm. UPDATE - 11am Emergency services are advising residents in Mulwala in need of assistance to go to the Mulwala Civic Centre in Melbourne Street. Residents in Mulwala, Bundalong and Yarrawonga woke to devastation this morning in the aftermath of last night's "tornado-like" weather event.
