Tatura Bulldogs were coached by Natalie Kirby, and finished the season undefeated on top of the ladder. Kirby said they were are a talented group of young girls, and she was proud of them going through the season undefeated.

‘‘This was a great achievement. Some of the girls had never played in a grand final before, so it was good for them,’’ she said.

Natalie said the under-13s were the only Tatura team to play in the Shepparton competition. ‘‘After this, there will probably be more next year,’’ she said.

‘‘I would like to thank my assistant coach Sonia Makar and team manager Ron Tischer for their support throughout the competition, along with the parents.

‘‘With games played Sunday afternoons, it has been a big commitment by parents to take the girls to the games.’’
