The Tatura Football Netball Club finalised its netball coaching panel this week with the appointment of Karen Manning and Gaye Eaton as coaches of the A- and B-grade teams respectively. Manning has several years experience with the Tatura A-grade side, being a solid performer on the court and she is excited by the challenge of coaching the team. Eaton returns after a few years break from netball and will be assisted by Lisa Cullum. B-reserve will be coached by Chelsea Nicholson who will be assisted by Ebony Atkinson. Misti Gow will again be responsible for the under-17 side and looks forward to working with this year’s young players.

Catherine Brooks has stepped into the role of Netball co-ordinator this season, taking the reins from Ebony Thorn, and Grace Lovell is acting as the secretary supporting Brooks. The Tatura Football Netball Club looks forward to the season with a new committee and new coaches and is hoping that the season will be an enjoyable one for the club.

Training has been run for the last two weeks with an extremely good turn out of young players eager to play. The club began holding trials last night (Tuesday) for girls interested in playing netball with the club this season. There will be three grading sessions and anyone who wants to play needs to attend these sessions. The club also welcomes anyone who is interested in taking on other roles with the club.
