With more than 300 participants, Saturday’s Tatura 200 was deemed another huge success according to organisers.

Riders and walkers set off from Tatura Lawn Tennis clubrooms to tackle the various stages of the 200, ranging from the 200km bike ride, down to the 5km family walk.

Children’s entertainment was provided throughout the day and there was plenty of food and drink to keep everyone happy.

Those participating in the 200 and 100km ride got off to an early start, taking in Mooroopna, Shepparton, Murchison and Rushworth, where they eventually met up with the 25km riders for the final leg back to Tatura.

In what turned out to be quite warm conditions, there were a lot of tired, aching bodies, and pained expressions, when riders arrived back into Tatura.

Now into its fifth year, Tatura 200 is a charity bike ride that raises money for the local community and prior to this year’s event, had raised more than $240000 for local charities.
