Three of the biggest names in football in recent times, Peter Bosustow, Warwick Capper and Mark ‘Jacko’ Jackson visited Tatura today for a one-off performance at the Tatura Hotel of their adult’s only Sports Comedy Show.
Bosustow, the former Carlton great, has re-invented himself into Australia’s leading comedic emcee.
Capper, renowned for his soaring marks and tight shorts, is ‘‘one of the most exciting, self-promoting, beautiful characters in Australian history ... just ask him’’.
As for ‘Jacko’, he needs little or no introduction. A journeyman, he has worked non-stop across Australia, inflicting his comedy everywhere.
The guys, after Capper beat Jacko in a game of pool, took to Hogan St this afternoon, to ‘‘stir up’’ some locals prior to the evening show, which Jacko telling the Guardian, ‘‘It is a very accomplished show. You can’t get anything better as far as football comedy goes.’’
Following their appearance in Tatura tonight, the trio head to Nagambie tomorrow night for another ‘‘fun-filled’’ show.
