Woman attacked while walking dog in Shepparton

Police are seeking information about an alleged assault that occurred at Deakin Reserve, Shepparton on Friday night.

Police are searching for two men following an alleged assault at Deakin Reserve on Friday night, where a woman was attacked while walking her dog.

Shepparton police Constable Aaron Morgan said the woman was walking past a set of stairs at the reserve about 8pm when the alleged assault occurred.

Const Morgan said the men were in their mid-20s and of caucasian appearance.

‘‘Both males had a skinny build, were wearing dark singlets and shorts, and neither were wearing footwear.’’

He said one of the alleged attackers had a green sleeve-style tattoo on one arm.
