Spate of car vandalism

Vandals left their mark on nine cars across Shepparton and Mooroopna at the weekend, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Shepparton police Crime Scene Services Leading Senior Constable Annie Clark said the vandals allegedly threw rocks at the vehicles, smashing windows and damaging panels.

Leading Sen Const Clark said the vehicles were parked at six separate addresses in Shepparton and Mooroopna and were targeted between about midnight on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

She urged any witnesses to contact police.
