Next month’s Shepparton Show Me Neon Dash is tipped to be one of the wildest and brightest nights Shepparton has ever seen.
Teenagers, young adults and families are being encouraged to dress up in day-glo outfits for the 5
The event is being run by The News and Shepparton Show Me with proceeds going to The Community Fund Goulburn Valley.
Event organisers Christine Anderson and Lisa Kubeil said the night would be an exciting event perfect for young people.
There will be pumping Top 40 music, four DJ tents and plenty of glow sticks.
‘‘People should come because it’s going to be so much fun, it’ll be a wonderful atmosphere,’’ Mrs Anderson said.
‘‘Teenagers don’t get a lot of events around here that are alcohol free like this one.’’
Ms Kubeil said the Neon Dash followed a trend of coloured runs in metropolitan areas.
‘‘We thought it would be fantastic to have one regionally, so people don’t have to travel,’’ she said.
Ms Kubeil thanked Sportsman’s Warehouse and GV Fancy Dress for providing outfits to promote the event.
