Take note: Speed limits along the Shepparton alternate route have been standardised to 80km/h as part of VicRoads' plan to eventually rid of 70km/h and 90km/h zones.

Doyles Rd is 80km/h, with the 90km/h zone at the southern end removed to bring it into line with the northern section and to improve safety at the intersection with Euroa-Shepparton Rd.

It is the first wave of changes that will eventually eliminate 70km/h and 90km/h zones across Victoria.

The changes will also reduce sign clutter that can be a distraction for drivers.

A new 80km/h speed limit sign has been placed on the bypass with a temporary sign attached advising drivers it is a new limit.

Small sections of Euroa-Shepparton and River Rds have also been standardised to 80km/h.

Other changes announced under the review last year were the extension of the 60km/h zone on Goulburn Valley Hwy at Wunghnu and the elimination of a 90km/h zone on Murchison-Violet Town Rd between Murchison East and Murchison.
