Santa visited Shepparton Aged Care early this year, with presents for young and old.
The residents were treated to a day of festive fun, including raffles, gifts and a cheeky elf or two.
Shepparton Aged Care diversional therapy manager Paula Bourke said it was a wonderful way for residents to celebrate the Christmas season with friends and staff before having smaller celebrations with their families on Christmas Day.
‘‘It was a big facility Christmas Day with lots of fun for everyone,’’ she said.
‘‘It was really just like you’d have at home, but it was one big, massive party with about 80 guests.’’
