A pedestrian received minor injuries after a car hit him in Kialla on Wednesday night.
Shepparton police First Constable Sally Skerys said the Kialla man, 31 was walking his dogs on Fairmaid Rd, near the intersection of Central Kialla Rd, when a white Nissan Patrol hit him.
She said the vehicle, driven by a Shepparton man, 56 , allegedly struck the man after swerving to avoid hitting the dogs.
First Const Skerys said the injured man suffered swelling and bruising to his legs and arms as well as general soreness, but did not require hospital treatment.
The News understands the same vehicle was involved in another crash the same day.
Shepparton police Sergeant Tim Gleeson said the vehicle was travelling behind a white Toyota Land Cruiser on River Rd, Kialla when they collided about 3.30
He said the drivers reported conflicting accounts of the incident and said no charges had been laid.
