The paddleboat stolen from Emerald Bank Adventure Park has been returned by a good Samaritan.
Owner Dianne Scott said a man noticed the light blue boat abandoned in the Goulburn River near Old Toolamba Rd on Monday.
‘‘He’d been bike riding and had a trailer, so he went home and dropped his things off and came back and collected it for us,’’ Ms Scott said.
‘‘He said he’d read it in the paper or else he wouldn’t have made the connection.’’
The 16-year-old boat vanished from the Kialla business on Friday morning and Ms Scott had been scratching her head as to how it had been stolen.
She said she was touched the boat was returned free of charge.
