Victorian Opposition leader Daniel Andrews has pledged $30 million to SPC Ardmona if Labor wins November’s state election.

Mr Andrews said Labor hoped to secure the company’s long-term future in the Goulburn Valley.

‘‘This company and the thousands of jobs that rely on it are too important to lose,’’ Mr Andrews said.

‘‘Our announcement today sends a firm signal to SPC and its parent company Coca-Cola Amatil that should Labor be elected in November we’re willing to support the their long-term viability in the Goulburn Valley.’’
