Occupants confront offenders in Kialla Lakes break-ins

Occupants confronted offenders in two separate burglaries in Kialla Lakes early this morning.

Two elderly ladies and their families were the victim of separate break-ins in Kialla Lakes overnight.

Shepparton police Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Anthony Jasinowicz said two houses in the vincinity of Kialla Lakes Drive were burgled about 5.30am and in both instances the offenders were confronted by occupants.

A male was arrested at the scene of the second incident, and two more males were arrested shortly after and are assisting police with inquiries.

Anyone who saw a suspicious white 4WD car in the Kialla Lakes Drive area at 5.30am this morning can phone Shepparton police Criminal Investigation Unit on 5820 5800.
