The Shepparton Show Me Neon Dash will light up Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton tomorrow night.By Chloe Warburton
Places for the Shepparton Show Me Neon Dash are quickly filling up, so expect a sea of bright colours at Victoria Park Lake tomorrow night.
Dozens of teams have registered over the last fortnight and organisers are expecting more to sign up before the event.
There’s no need for fitness on this fun run – just the desire to have a good time and raise money for a good cause.
The Neon Dash will be run by Shepparton Show Me and the Shepparton News and proceeds will go to local charity through the Community Fund Goulburn Valley.
Runners of all ages have been registering for the Neon Dash – the oldest is 72 and the youngest just six-years-old.
Glowing Mummas team leader Shana Kreeck said her team was made up of five members of a local mothers group.

The inventively named team Buns on the Run has the same idea, said team leader Sheree Carver.
‘‘We’re four mums who are going to have a go and run to raise some money for charity,’’ she said.
‘‘We’ve been running to get fit after having kids, so this was a great opportunity and we’re really looking forward to supporting the community and a new event.’’
