Mooroopna police officers to be based in Shepparton
Mooroopna officers will work from Shepparton Police Station from March 27 while a new station is built in Mooroopna.

The station will be closed from March 27, with its seven members shifting to Shepparton Police Station for the duration of the overhaul.
Station Sergeant Peter Kearney said it would not change the police presence in the town.
However, residents would have to phone or drop into Shepparton Police Station to speak to Mooroopna officers.
A direct telephone number will be published in the week leading up to the move.
The Victorian Government earmarked the 50-year-old station for a rebuild in November 2010 and money was allocated in last May’s budget.
