Man hit by car in Shepparton

A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Shepparton late this afternoon. Police and emergency services are on scene.

A man has been taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital following a car collision this afternoon.

Police on scene said the man was hit by a car on the corner of Rowe St and Dudley St, near Safeway, in Shepparton about 5.45pm.

His condition and injuries are unknown at this stage.

Police and emergency services remain on scene so please be careful in the area.
