BREAKING, 2.21pm: The main street of Kyabram is blocked as specialist police attempt to remove a man from a home.
The home in Allan St, near the Kyabram Showgrounds, has been blocked for several hours after a man barricaded himself in a house.
Victoria Police's Critical Incident Response Team has travelled to Kyabram from Melbourne to attend the scene.
The Country Fire Authority is also on scene.
The man is believed to be alone.
