Kyabram police Senior Constable Steve Shellew said Tony’s Pizza Restaurant on Allan St was broken into between 10.30
Sen Const Shellew said a glass sliding door was smashed to gain access to the venue.
‘‘They’ve actually gone through the building that’s next to the pizza shop, a little lounge bar that’s connected to it,’’ he said. ‘‘They’ve broken into the front door, stolen the cash register with about $500.’’
Sen Const Shellew said several hundred dollars worth of damage was also caused the the door. He said the restaurant was fitted with CCTV cameras and police would be reviewing the footage.
