GV Health receive $500,000 from Vic Government

The Victorian Government has granted $500,000 to Goulburn Valley Health to better respond to drug and alcohol-affected patients.

Goulburn Valley Health’s emergency department will receive $500,000 from the Victorian Government to better respond to drug and alcohol affected patients.

The funding is provided across four years and will enable the employment of additional specialist staff and provide GV Health’s emergency department staff with better support for the identification, management and treatment of people who are intoxicated or drug affected.
