A garbage truck driver was forced to dump their trash this morning after a fire started in the truck.

Just after 9am, the driver heard a bang and pulled over on an empty lot on the corner of Archer and Channel Rds in Shepparton.

The driver dumped the load and discovered it was on fire. Country Fire Authority members arrived and extinguished the blaze.
