It is believed at least one person has been taken to hospital following a fire in Leithen St in Shepparton this afternoon.
The fire broke out in a flat about 4pm and Country Fire Authority units attended and quickly extinguished the flames.
Leithen St is currently closed between St Andrews Rd and Hayes St.
Police, paramedics and Country Fire Authority members are on scene.
