Fire crews stop truck explosion

Firefighters stopped a B-double truck, carrying petrol and diesel, from exploding this morning. The underside of the truck travelling near Tatura caught fire, and was quickly extinguished by fire crews.

Country Fire Authority firefighters attended a truck fire at 5am today.

The crews extinguised a fire that had started underneath a B-double truck at the intesection of Tatura-Murchison and Toolamba-Rushworth Rds.

There are no serious injuries.
