Violet Town Boundary Rd is closed at the Shepparton-Violet Town Rd intersection.
The grassfire at Tamleugh North is now under control.
The Country Fire Authority was called to a fire on Shepparton Violet Town Rd at Tamleugh North, near Shepparton, about 12.30pm.
The fire is not contained and 15 tankers are on scene.
