One person is dead following a single car crash on Ferguson Rd, near Tatura, this morning.January 23, 2014 7:44am
Police are at the scene of a fatal crash near Tatura, which left a female dead.
Investigators believe a Ford sedan was travelling on Ferguson Rd, near Toolamba Rd, about 3.30am when the driver lost control and the vehicle hit a tree.
There were five occupants in the vehicle and a female occupant died at the scene.
Four other occupants were taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital.
Ferguson Rd is closed between Turnbull Rd and Toolamba Rd. The Major Collision Investigation Unit will arrive shortly.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information can phone CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
