An elderly woman was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne yesterday with a severe chest injury after a car collided into trees near Euroa.

The woman was airlifted to Melbourne from a foot-ball oval on the corner of Parker St and Euroa Main Rd.

The man was sent to the Goulburn Valley Base Hospital, where a spokeswoman last night said he was in a stable condition with minor injuries.
