Crash on causeway between Shepparton and Mooroopna

The Peter Ross-Edwards Causeway is now open following a major crash earlier this afternoon.

UPDATE, 3.08pm: Police have confirmed all four lanes of the Peter Ross-Edwards Causeway are now open again.

1.14pm: Multiple vehicles have been involved in a crash on the Peter Ross-Edwards Causeway between Shepparton and Mooroopna this afternoon.

The crash occurred about 1pm and all four lanes of traffic are blocked in both directions.

The causeway is currently closed from the bridge over the Goulburn River to McLennan St in Mooroopna.
