Concern over duck regulations

A local environment group is concerned new regulations to keep protesters away from duck hunters will restrict access to public wetlands.

The Goulburn Valley Environment Group is concerned that new regulations designed to keep protesters away from duck hunters will effectively lock locals and visitors out of public wetlands.

GVEG said the Victorian Government has declared wetlands off-limits by declaring a curfew from hours prior to sunset until 10tham the following morning during a three month duck shooting season.
