Break-in at Shepparton school

A laptop computer was stolen and lockers were damaged during a break-in at Wanganui Park Secondary School.

Police are appealing for information after a break-in at a Shepparton high school on Monday night.

Shepparton police Crime Scene Services Leading Senior Constable Brendan Bryan said teachers at Wanganui Park Secondary College arrived at work yesterday morning to find a laptop missing and students’ lockers damaged.

Leading Sen Const Bryan said it appeared someone had smashed a window to gain entry into a teachers’ room and stolen a laptop.

He said the alleged offender had also tried to force open about 50 lockers, causing considerable damage.
