Weaving workshop for Aboriginal women

What: Learn about and practise traditional weaving methods and materials and discover ways of expressing your identity as a contemporary Aboriginal woman.

When: 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, every Monday until June 24.

People Talking to People: Finding Common Ground Through Making Art Together

What: An opportunity to meet and talk with new arrivals to our community who are learning to speak English. The program is designed to encourage discussion, interaction and communication between people from different language and cultural backgrounds while having fun together creating art.

When: 10.30 am to 1.30 pm each Tuesday until March 26.

Where: Shepparton Art Museum, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton.

Getting to know SAM

What: If you want to know more about SAM, this course will help you engage historical and contemporary artworks. Meeting weekly over a six-week period you will be introduced to selected works from the permanent art collection, including some recent acquisitions.

When: 2 pm to 4 pm every Tuesday until March 26.

Where: Shepparton Art Museum, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton.

Cost: $20.
