Police attended the scene of an armed robbery at a Caltex Woolworths Service Station in Shepparton last night.
Detectives from the Shepparton Criminal Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a service station in Shepparton last night.
Police have been told a man entered the service station on High Street just after 10pm.
It is believed the man approached the attendant and said he had a hand grenade before making demands for cash.
The victim handed over a small amount of cash and the offender fled the scene.
He was last seen running west along High Street.
No one was injured during the incident.
The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged 25 to 30-years-old, unshaven with short brown hair.
He was wearing a grey or white hooded top and three quarter length dark pants at the time of the armed robbery.
