Anyone see a meteorite?

A reader called up this morning after seeing what he believes could've been a meteorite in Shepparton this morning.

A glowing light travelling somewhat close to the ground - what could it be?

Reader Peter reckons it could've been a meteorite. He rang The News this morning after a visit to WB Hunters on Florence St.

"I was just turning into Hunters, it was about five past seven this morning, and there was sort of a screech sound, or more like a scream... I looked up and there was a glow," he said.

"It went across to Murchison way. It must've landed somewhere - I wonder if anyone else saw it? It was quick, it just sort of shot across, but it was slower than any meteorite I've seen."

Park snaps to it to build croc new home

Much like the 16-year-old teenager who outgrows their childhood bedroom, it’s time for Kyabram Fauna Park’s saltwater crocodile Getcha to upgrade to a larger enclosure.
